Some Historical Background For Your Trip
(And what makes this trip special)
Traveled for over 3,000 years, from the time of Abraham until today, the Way of the Patriarchs received its name as it is the north-south route on top of the Hebron, Judean and Samarian Mountain ridge, where Abraham, Isaac and Jacob would have traveled between Be’er Sheva, Hebron, Bet El, and Nablus. Tracing this route and discovering its magic, will literally, leave “no stone unturned,” for each holds a story infused with history.
Today, the Way of the Patriarchs is Highway 60 going through Israel and the West Bank. It is only 146 miles (235 km) long, but its story stretches back thousands of years.
